Code 19 Error Related to CD/DVD Drives and Its Fix

Do you have problems with your CD/DVD drives such that these drives are not shown in Windows Explorer. And if the Device Manager(DM) lists the problem with AN "ERROR CODE 19"(THE STATUS REPORT OF THE DRIVES UNDER DM WILL BE LIKE THIS "WINDOWS FAILED TO LOAD THE DRIVERS FOR THIS DEVICE BECAUSE OF A CORRUPTED REGISTRY")One possible solution to fix this problem is to delete the "Upper and Lower filters" entry in the Registry either manually or by using a tool designed to perform the same task.Manual deletion of the above entries require some extensive knowledge of Windows Registry and its hives.Fortunately, © Microsoft Corporation has issued a tool to delete
the said entries by using its tool Guided_Help.exe(file size=541KB)which you all can download for free of cost from the companies official web site. The tool will delete the filter's entry and a manual restart of the system will bring back the CD/DVD drives under Windows Explorer.Owing to some copyright problems, I couldn't upload this tool to one of my favorite free web hosting services.
